Our Story

Miss Louise opened their first Melbourne boutique in 1965 at 4 Howey Place in Melbourne's CBD followed in 1967 at Block Place in Little Collins Street Melbourne.  

In 1972 the Southern Cross hotel boutique opened. The expansion of exclusive luxury shoe and handbag brands into the stores followed when the founders began travelling to Europe and started importing Italian and French footwear and handbags including Charles Jourdan, Maud Frizon, Carrano, Robert Clergerie, Stephan Kelian, Sergio Rossi, Andrea Pfister, Fendi and Bottega Veneta.

In 1984 the Toorak Village boutique was established with the addition of ready to wear by Jean Paul Gaultier, Krizia and Theirry Mugler and Claude Montana. 

In 1987 a new flagship  boutique opened at the Grand Hyatt with Courreges, Robert Cavalli, Valentino, Balenciaga, Giuseppe Zanotti, Christian Louboutin, Tods, and many more luxury brands for shoes bags and ready to wear.   

Miss Louise Boutique relocated in 2007 next to The Westin Hotel at 205 Collins Street continuing the legacy of the company importing and selling the top luxury  shoes & accessories including Emilio Pucci, Alexander McQueen, Walter Steiger, Dolce & Gabbana, ALAIA, Versace, YSL, Aquazurra, Jimmy Choo, Balmain  Rene Caovilla Gianvito Rossi and many other exclusive European designers. 

Today , Miss Louise still brings in many new and emerging designers to showcase within the boutique as well as selling our heritage brands.
